What Fun!

I participated in my first card making class with Joanne at Sandhills Community College. Never having made cards before, Joanne and her assistants, plus my classmates helped me learn the basics and before the semester was over, I felt confident enough to branch out on my own. For the 2024 US Open, we hosted a houseful of family and friends. I made table cards with a golf theme for the different foods/beverages for our pre-dinner table. FUN!!

She is amazing!

I have taken several classes with Joanne. One would think that it would get redundant...but that is not the case. Each time we gather she has new and fresh ideas to share with the group. New techniques and skills which she is so willing to share. Also, Joanne is so encouraging and uplifting...that you feel such a sense of accomplishment when you leave, you can't wait for the next class. I will always have Joanne's classes on my calendar!!!

Joanne is an excellent instructor! As a novice, I not only learned how to create a variety of interesting card-related projects, but I also had fun. Each class introduced a new technique for cutting, embossing, stamping, coloring, and assembling cards, boxes, and other novelties. When you walk in the classroom, all materials are readily available, and assistance is always close by. I am anxious to continue learning this newly-found craft.

Wonderful Time!

So glad I found SU Demonstrator Joanne Mace! She is very knowledgeable about paper crafting and generous with her skills. Her classes are well thought out and she has an easy to understand teaching style. Highly recommend connecting with her and joining a class or workshop. While I have not taken her class at the community college, I have had many opportunities for creating lovely cards with JoAnne. She is giving of her time and space, generous with her tools and supples, and always patient . I love her attitude of joy when she shares her creativity. Stampin in the Sandhills

Joanne is THE best!! Not only is she creative and talented, but she is also very enthusiastic and encourages others to be creative. GREAT Teacher

Joanne Mace is a great teacher. I have taken a couple of classes with her. If a student doesn't understand or is having a difficult time putting the card together, Joanne will take the time to help them complete their card(s) or demonstrate again. She provides all supplies to complete the cards for classes. If students want to order Stampin' Up supplies to make duplicate cards, she accommodates them.
